Just testing how it worked with her passing him... and I'm happy so far :]
Still being worked on so thats why there's a long gap of nothing happening :D
Still checking for things that need changing... and I need to somehow stop the motion tweening on the little stones for when he falls.... but it's not going how it should so still working on that... aswel...
Still need to have him looking at her so that he doesn't notice the bin ahead of him... and obviously his face, hat and footwear still needs to be completed. Shouldn't be too much :]....VID IS CRAP AGAIN!! D:<
Finally finished.... will still try and smoothen out some parts if I can.
All the animation parts together.. this is how it;s supposed to look when it has the clicking button there..
I wasn't too happy with that ending so I added this.... I think it flows back into the walk cycle better... still not to pleased but I think its better than the 1st ending..

Miss Lady Girl :]
Here are some pics of some girls from Johnny Bravo... I like the simplisity of it.
I only need side views because my character will only walk by for a short time.

Here is a quick drawing of the girl character that I will use.

Changed the colour of the shorts, and made them slightly shorter because I found that the older one looked more like a skirt than shorts.

A vid from Johnny Bravo.
Mainly for the girls because they are medium shots of them walking across the screen.
The first girl is particularly good becuase the camera is tracking her as she walks wich is what I want to do in a part of my animation. Also the rest of the girls walk past the screen as the cam is focused on Johnny, also similar to what I will do in mine.
A short close up of her walking along... It will only last as short as that if not slightly shorter as this is just so that there wouldn't be any glitches when the guy character was clicked on... such as the order of the back ground, his position, legs, steps etc.
This way the camera would jump to her no matter what position the guy was in and that wouln't cause a problem.
I know the hair stands out ALOT.. especially against such a smooth background and even her movement.
Although not human, I think it captures and exagerates the poses and form of a 'sexy' walk.... :\... although a bit stiff hehe
A vid I found on Youtube of a girl walking through town barefooted :\..... weird yes.... but also very usefull to me for this project. :]
A key fram test of the girl walking along to get a basic idea and see if it's going OK! ^^
Oh and her arm is bent because she will have a bag over he shoulder and holding on to the strap.
And her feet are like that because she's wearing high heels.
THE VID DOESN'T SEEM TO BE PLAYING GOOD AT ALL :\
I'LL TRY AND UPLOAD IT AGAIN LATER ON BECAUSE I JUST UPLOADED IT FOR THE THIRD TIME!! D:<
Here is the same walk cycle but with all the frames in between so much smoother... not sure if her walk is too slow though, I might take out some frames to speed it up but first I want to see how this works with the male character since his walk is quite draggy.
added the body's outline over the 'skeleton'
I added the colour now to cover up her 'skeleton'.... just need to add her right arm instead of just that thick black line for an arm :]
Just need to add the face and the hair now..... taking longer than I thought.. :\
but i'm happy with the result so far :]
Finished.. now to add her walking past the guy......
I do see that the hair is moving a bit much... but i thought that I'd axaggerate that feature quite a bit because a woman's hair is her beauty and its often done in films. Also when taking photo's of models tho make the picure look more affective and eye catching.

Interactive Walk Cycle Tests
A test of the walk cycle. Just as a stick figure to make sure I get the movement how I want...
A test of the walk with the background behind.... it's ok, you're not the only one that doesn't like it..
Just added the body and clothing... I'm having some trouble with the jeans and shoes now because I made the shoes as a symbol and now i cant seem to get them moved behind the jeans...
might have to put them on another layer i guess.... :\
Moved the shoes unto a new layer so that problem is fixed... now to get the walking and background moving in sync :].... which has clearly not been done here yet :]
Still working on getting the feet to stay ON the ground instead of sliding every now and then. I also made him go forwards and back so he intereacts with the ground and background more. I left the sick figure in so that I could see the centre of his walk and to always have him im in the same position every two steps so that he doesnt walk off the screen by either walking to fast or to slow.
I will change the background to have them all on seperate layers and have each piece move at a defferent speed to create dept and distance in the background since this background is one image done in Photoshop.... maybe that will help.
Well he isn't as smooth as I wanted however the background works much better and he fits in better aswel I think :]...
I might fix his jerky movements after I get the other important things out of the way.

Storyboard
This is my Storyboard for my animation.... changed from my original idea but i think this should work better... i hope....
Will have it that when he is clicked on, the camera will jump to a close up of the woman (side view) before she passes him so that I can avoid the complication of which posittion the guy is in when he is clicked on.
eg. if my animation triggered by the click starts with him with his right leg forwards and his head tilted back, then when viewer clicks on him when his right leg is behind or his head leaning forwords, it would just jump from one fram to another and have no smooth animation so with the camera changing first, that body posittioning is no longer a problem.

Here is a clip of an embarrassing baseball player falling after confidently running to 1st base. I specially like that he felt quite confident and relaxed about running to 1st base and the unexpected fall he had. Very similar to what I want to have happen in my own animation and this is a cid that could deffinately help towards my animated fall.
Can't remember where its from... Britain's got talent or somthing like that... anyway..
This is very close to how I want my character to fall over then bin... basically having him hit his face first and his legs arch over his back so this is very helpfull to me... and very painfull for him.

Interactive Cycle
Here is the character I thought of for the cycle.... tried to keep it simple so nothing to complex :]

This is just a sketch showing the way he walks... supposed to be all cool, confident and relaxed.

This is mainly where I got my character idea from....
It's not too complicated and I like that his entire body is just one long line instead of curves and shaped to show different parts of his body.
Still I wanted a bit more than just a line and a face for my character and since i like big, baggy clothes I desided to give my charater those clothes aswel and the had and sun glasses as a cool look.

This is the 'Mr. Soft Advert'. Looking at his walk cuase he has a really confident/relaxed walk... not quite what I'm looking for but definately elements I can add to mine ^^

1st Animation: Walk Cycle
This is the first walk cycle I've done however everything (the feet in different positions as symbols) was provided by my teacher so I just had to place them in position and repeat.
It came out squashed together but please ignore that :]
Here are some ideas I had for the character that I was going to use for my own walk cycle...
Wanted to exagerate the way our spine's are shaped, pushing his hips far forwards.

This one Just wanted to have more of a cartoony cute walk to it....

Then played Prototype and liked the whole serious, dangerous walk he had so wanted to try that out for myself :]

This is my Walk Cycle..... (if you'd call it that)... i prefere limp cycle :\
Came out soooooo different to what I aimed for :(. but failures are lessons I guess...
